My husband and I were going on a week long cruise, and our old luggage was getting pretty threadbare. After reading the reviews here on the Swany site, we decided to purchase the trio.

As "luck" would have it, I injured my knee right before we were supposed to go on our trip. As a result, I really did lean on my bag as I was walking through the airport and ship terminal- and yes, it works just like the site video shows. The wheels handle surface transition pretty well, going from moving walkways to smooth tile to industrial carpet with no difficulties.

I saw other people with "spinner" type bags that did not move nearly as well as our Walkin' Bags.

Note for frequent travelers: the mid-size 22" bag is considered a bit big for some airlines to consider as a carry-on, so you might want to check that before you book your tickets. It turned out that the airline we were using let us check our small and medium bags at the gate, which we didn't get charged for, so that's an option, too.

So, if I love the bags so much, how come I didn't rate 5 stars? Well, there are some minor, very minor "cons" that make these bags slightly less than perfect:

They don't nest together when not in use. To save storage space, it would be nice if the little bag fit into the medium bag, which in turn fit into the big bag. As it is, you can fit the little bag into the big bag, but the medium bag gets left out in the cold. :(

The 18-inch would be great for a single overnight stay, but if it were a 20-inch bag instead, I think it would be better for a weekend trip.

Black, black, black. I know they can't offer a ton of color choices and still keep the cost down, but I would love to see at least ONE other choice!

A built in luggage id tag would be nice, where you write your pertinent info and then slide the tag back in to the holder.

So, apart from a few minor quibbles, I really love my Swany Walkin' Bag Spinner trio! (Posted on 3/22/12)

We were in the airport at Miami...waiting flight to Chicago. We had another leather carry-on but then we saw this trio set of spinner on display, could not believe how easy to maneuver and lightweight. We gave our expensive leather roller to the store staff and exchanged contents and feel in love with this awesome trio. You can not believe the set is this price. We've had our spinner bags for two weeks and used them on 5 airline flights as for our vacation. My husband took 24" and I had 22". We are both so happy with them. I absolutely love these spinner bags. My husband and I bought this 3 piece set for a trip to Hawaii. We took 2 of these and the third we gave to our 8 year old to take on her trip to NY with her grandparents. She had no problem maneuvering the luggage. In fact, for me, the spinning four wheels with curved handle made these bags the easiest to walk, push and turn around.
