I need to travel to NYC a couple of times a month for a few days. This bag is the bomb!! I've rolled this thing all over the City filled to the brim and it never failed me yet. I walk with this bag beside me without effort. All my papers and my 15" laptop fit just perfectly with plenty of room in the other compartment for shoes and overnight clothes. I usually fit my makeup, lunch, phones and cords in this bag perfectly. I do not carry heavy purse any more. With very smooth four spinning wheels, it rolls around upright and keeps the weight off of my wrist and shoulder. Have the bag for a month now, love it. Now I don't need to use my cane everyday, can use my free hand for my umbrella in rainy Portland, OR. Wonderful bag I ordered in black, very expensive looking, lots of people give it admiring glances. Use for shopping, library, art supplies, etc. It is just great! Absolutely adore this bag. Just the right size for hauling my laptop, iPad and accessories and a few books. Plenty of compartments, easy to clean and wheels just walks itself, and I can lean on a handle that helps my leg after knee surgery. Beautiful green, much better than all black or brown. This is the most fantastic cabin bag ever!! Have never found one before with so many pockets and places to put everything such as water bottle on the backside for easy access! Love the big zipper back pockets for magazines & itinerary! I travel frequently overseas and Fortuno will be perfect to have under the seat in front of me. Also, it's perfect for a weekend away - will hold all I need! I bought packing cubes at Target to organize everything I take in it also. I only wish it came in purple to match my favor. I love the bag. It looks good and I can fit art supplies in it. I also sometimes shop for food and use it that way. I like the handle because I am tall and it adjusts to my height. It also fits under the subway turnstile. The only thing I would improve on is to have zippers on the side to open it up more so I can conveniently place a bag in without struggling to get it in the walkin bag. I also think a lock on the wheels could be helpful so when the bus stops the bag doesn't go flying. The wheels are very easy to roll, but in a moving bus or train you need to make sure you are holding onto it. (Posted on 5/15/11)

Writing this for my elderly father...I purchased Fortuno because he really could benefit from a cane, but is too proud/ stubborn/ afraid to look vulnerable using a cane. He travels with bus and subway daily, and was using an ancient collapsible set of luggage wheels to lug his purchases. He loved the look and weight of this bag. He can stow his Metrocard and wallet in the back part easily. I would have liked the model with the seat, but I have 2 JetCarts with seat, and I think he would lack the dexterity and patience to fold it properly, which must be done with the handle down, or has a tendency to stick. I bought this bag in lime green, and its gorgeous. I have a tendency to buy everything in black and this is a brilliant change. I lug a lot of things to work with me, and my shoulders suffered until I got this bag. I hope the wheels hold up, because I take it across the parking lot daily. I use this bag to carry my laptop, lunch and a change of shoes to work each day, and sometimes to shop on weekends. I can lean on it and stash my cane in the bag itself, leaving a hand free. The handle adjusts to different heights and does not collapse even if I lean on the button (you have to push it below the surface of the handle to move the handle). I do sometimes have to lift or push the bag over big cracks in the sidewalk, so it is best for someone who can walk a few steps without support. The bag has a surprising number of little pockets in and outside of the zipped area and looks classy. I'd like it to be an inch or so deeper, but that's my only issue.
