Replacement wheel system

The improved wheel system extended product lifetime dramatically but from this emerged another issue.

Buyers started using Walkin’Bag for everyday use—commuting, shopping, going to meetings.  The wear and tear on the wheels was intense.  If you think about it, people generally use their luggage only a couple of times a year.  In that case, wear and tear happens over a long period of time.  But because Walkin’Bag was being used every day for everyday use the wheels were wearing out much faster.  We needed a solution that would last. Making the wheels stiffer just made them noisier.  Making the diameter larger by 1/2” reduced the noise and wear and tear but did not equal a long-term solution. 

Finally, we found our solution!  We made the wheels replaceable and started selling replacement wheels at a fair price. This released users from paying for expensive repairs and replacement pieces.
