Oiless Bearing Freed Wheel Maintenance

A smooth ride is important when talking lean-on mobility. 

That being said, the original wheel used for the first prototype was smooth but it required frequent lubrication and wheel maintenance. At first, we enclosed a special lubricant when a customer purchased a Walkin’Bag and explained to them how to lubricate wheels when necessary. That was only a short-term fix. I knew Walkin’Bag needed to be maintenance free. 

Amazingly enough, we found a special plastic bearing called [Oiless] that required no lubrication whatsoever. This small, plastic part freed Walkin’Bag from wheel maintenance and assured users a smooth rolling experience.
