Walking Briefcase, a smaller bag that I could lean on

My next thought was to use a Walking Briefcase, a smaller bag that I could lean on.

I realized using my suitcase for just walking around town was inconvenient.  But I couldn't stop dreaming of a smaller walking bag that I could lean on. 

So, I started looking at my briefcase and imagining it with four multi-directional wheels just like my walking suitcase with a cane-like handle so I could lean on it.

Well, that’s how Walkin’Bag was born!  

 I designed it strong enough to lean on, light enough to lift up onto an escalator, and versatile enough to easily maneuver through a crowded walkway. 

I didn’t have to carry a briefcase and a cane—it was wonderful!  I knew if I needed a product like this there were other people out there who could benefit from such a product.  So, my company, Swany, started selling this rolling briefcase to the market.    

Did it work?  

Unfortunately not as well as I had wanted.  The bag had some drawbacks.  To have proper stability, the handle  needed to be located in the center of the bag and this structure did not allow to store bulky items in the bag.
